Timespans are only available if the Use Timespans option is turned on. Not all EasyOpen systems support timed access.
To edit the information associated with a timespan:
The Display Name is used to uniquely identify the timespan to you. You may find it helpful to choose a name that gives an indication of whether this is a shift or an operational period.
!U! If the timespan is assigned to a door it can be used to ensure the door is double-locked, or unlocked during the timespan. That behaviour is set here. Note that a double-locked door can be overidden by anyone with the appropriate authorisation level.
!U! Select either an operational period or a shift. For an operational period you should select if it is the default operational period. For a shift you should select on which days it will operate.
!U! Use to set the times applicable to the timespan. Note that if the timespan is a shift the date pickers will be missing.
!U! The drop-lists on the left can be used to select typical times and dates. Alternatively the standard Windows time and date pickers on the right can be used. Note that the date picker drop-button will display a calandar, from which dates can be picked.
Operational periods must start before they end. This will be enforced when you update the hardware so the controls don't fight you whilst you are making edits.
If a shift To: time is less than the From: time, the To: time is assumed to be the following day.
A shift must 'know' over what period of time it is to operate (the default is 'forever'). You do this by assigning one or more operational periods to a shift.
